“ Oh my goodness gracious the food here was so good. My husband and I came in before a show at the Palladium, which is only a short walk away. We didn't have reservations but were seated quickly. We ordered in a couple rounds and the food came out super quickly. We had a little of everything and it was all so good. Shoutout to the crispy rice, which is one of my favorite dishes and so few restaurants offer it. Service was pleasant and accurate, and the ambiance was cheerful and energetic. Prices for the sushi seemed a little steep but the quality of all our food was on point. We paid around $100 for two people plus tip. I will definitely be back! ”

“ We love chashu! We have been coming here for years and have tried so many different things from their menu, as it changes seasonally and there have been several new additions. We have always loved the ghost ramen and the pork belly bao buns, but are also fans of the brothless spicy bulgogi beef ramen, which is so delicious. The sushi menu is also always amazing, and the nigiri combo set has always been a favorite of mine. Each piece is so uniquely created with so much attention and thought. Lastly the ever changing dessert menu is always such an exciting treat, and we have gotten to try so many different things because of this. Cannot recommend this spot more! ”

“ We made a reservation for a post Worcester Symphony Orchestra concert dinner at Chashu Ramen & Izakaya, which was a short walk from the historic Mechanics Hall venue. It boasted many good Yelp reviews, an interesting menu and we were looking forward to a good meal. It was surprisingly busy for a Sunday night, as we arrived a little early for our reservation. The hostess told us a table would be ready in a few minutes, and about 5 minutes later, she offered us a choice of a table by the window, or one further back near the kitchen. No brainer, we sat next to the window. Our waiter, who was excellent throughout the dinner, arrived quickly, answered a few questions about since this was our first time here, and took our order. We selected: * SCORCHING SALMON $16: Sliced salmon, fried shallots, citrus sauce, lightly torched with a herb flame. * SALMON (sake) $11 * SALMON MAKI $10.50 * Beef Tenderloin Skewer $5: Garlic herb butter * (2) Shrimp Skewer $5: Tare glaze, charred lemon, togarashi * Gyoza $11: Seared chicken & pork dumplings, house-made dipping sauce, togarashi * Eggplant $8: Grilled, teriyaki glaze, scallion oil, fried shallots My co-diner's dinner was comprised of the appetizer plates, and she was very impressed. She said the Eggplant dish was fabulous. I sampled the Beef Tenderloin (tasty), the Gyoza (delicious), the Shrimp (also tasty) while consuming some excellent sashimi and sushi. The Scorching Salmon is torched at the table, a fun and delicious dish. Candidly, I'd order any or all of these upon my return, which is guaranteed after such an excellent dinner. Total cost with two glasses of wine was $122 with tip (note that portions are on the smaller side). ”

“ Came here as a group of 4 on a Saturday for dinner and it was jammed packed. Luckily we made a reservation so we didn't have to wait too long. Our waitress was super friendly and made sure to check up on us periodically. We got some orders of shrimp tempura rolls which were . I'm a huge fan of fried chicken so when I saw that they double fry their chicken, I knew I had to get it. Chicken was crispy however the flavors did not come through for me as much as I would have liked. I got the hakata ramen which was good but not the best. My wife got the abura ramen and it was better than my dish. FOOD: 7/10 SERVICE: 9/10 Recommendation: Drinks are strong so if you want to get lit, this is the spot ”

“ Food Is amazing, not cheap but so tasty and the ramen makes 2 meals for me. The atmosphere is so good, a perfect mix of classy design and modern pop culture influence. Recommend the Butter Corn Ramen with an extra Soy Marinated Egg. And get the chicken wings or the street corn app. ”
